Origin: Brazil, Canada, Caribbean, China, El Salvador, Guyana, India, Indonesia, laos, Madagascar, Malaysia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Suriname, Taiwan, Thailand, United States, Venezuela, Vietnam.          



StemToxicity: An ingredient of fish poison made by the French Guiana Galibi.


Range. Southern Asia, Australia, tropical Africa, south to Natal; introduced in tropi­cal America. In Myanmar, found in Bago, Magway, Mandalay, Sagaing, and Yangon.


Whole plant: Used as an anthelmintic and antipyretic.
