Range. Southern Asia. Naturalized in the West Indies and southern Florida. Re­ported from Myanmar.

Sap: Milky; used as an emetic and purgative.

Fruit: An aperient (its vitamin C content approaches in quantity the amount in lemon and grapefruit).
