Is a climbing herb of the transitional cloud forest. The leaves are 3-5 lobed, each segment being of elliptic shape. The leaf anatomy has been described by ROTH (1990). A tea of the roots is employed to correct faulty menstruation. Boiled leaves are applied to scrapes and wounds.
