Summary
Brazil peppertree (Schinus terebinthifolius) is a widely used medicinal plant not only in Argentina but also in the rest of Latin America. The leaves have shown antimicrobial and in vitro antitumour activity while the bark is an effective wound healing agent, thus validating the popular use of the later.
