Whole plant: The French Guiana Wayapi use the crushed plant in a maceration to treat infections of the penis and violent, persistent headache. Maceration of the whole plant is rubbed locally on the penis or the forehead (for headache), as well as drunk in small amounts to remedy penis infections.
