Whole plant: For an antiblennorrhagic tea; emetic for stimulating children to vomit; for an antiodontalgic gargle; decoction of leaf and stem used to treat heavy menstrual flow; emollient.
Leaf: Infusion for fevers. This plant is used in much the same way as Scoparia dulcis.
