ACCIÓN FARMACOLÓGICA= Pharmacological action: Astringente, estimulante.

COMPOSICIÓN QUÏMICA= Chemical composition: Analysis by GC and GC-MS of the essential oil obtained from aerial parts of Buddleja tucumanensis revealed 28 components (81 % of the total composition). The major constituents were found to be alpha-thujene, beta-pinene, alpha-pinene, rho-cymene, alpha-trans-bergamotene and beta-caryophyllene; the enantiomeric distribution of alpha-pinene, sabinene, beta-pinene, limonene and terpinen-4-ol was studied by multidimensional HRGC-HRGC.
