Uses
Whole plant: Astringent.
Bark: Remedy for dysentery.
Fruit and Seed: An antidiarrheic; peels of fruits or seed used as poultice on swellings, and ash of seed applied to itches.
Bark and Root: Strong astringent.
Root: Used to treat cholera.
