Uses
Bark and Root: Used in the removal of urinary concretions and as an astringent.

Throughout India up to an altitude of 1.000 m, except in very dry regions.

Action:
Bark—astringent, used in the form of a liniment in rheumatism. Paste of the stem bark is applied to wounds.
