Origin:
Punjab and western Rajasthan.

Action:
Roots—diuretic. Used for urinary discharges and dysmenorrhoea.
Seeds—deobstruent, resolvent, diuretic (used in strangury and sexual debility).
Powdered plant---- is applied locally on infections of the genitals and on burns.
