The Himalayas and Assam up to 3,000 m, introduced into the Nilgiris
(Tamil Nadu).
Action:
Carminative, stomachic, astringent.
Leaf—diuretic, antipyretic. Neutralizes after effects of intoxication. Used for abdominal pains, nausea, bleeding nose.
