Fruits— spasmolytic; used in aphthous complaints.
Root—used for bladder and visceral troubles.
Bark-decoction—used for washing ulcers;
juice and powdered bark— applied to wounds and bruises.
Syconium—used for ulcers of mucous membrane.
Syconium and bark—antileprotic.
