Action:
Gum—anticholerin. Used as a gargle. Applied to eczema and skin diseases.
Bark—antidysenteric, astringent, diuretic.
Seed— antirheumatic.
Fruit—stomachic.
Root—applied externally in skin diseases.
Leaves and young shoots— astringent and stomachic.
