COMPOSICIÓN QUÍMICA= Chemical composition: cf. CA 62, 8929d. The phys. and chem. properties of the essential oils from the title plants were detd. by gas chromatography. The essential oil of E. rubra contains 15 constituents: terpene alcs. 56% (linalool, terpineol), geraniol 11.65%, ketones 14.1%, esters, aldehydes, and hydrocarbons. The essential oil of F. imbricata contains 2 carbonyl compds., a sesquiterpene alc. and its ester, one phenol, and free acids.
