COMPOSICIÓN QUÍMICA= Chemical composition: Young shoots of M. aphylla afforded the flavonoids apigenin and penduletin. Identification was based on UV, 1H NMR, and mass spectral data. The triterpene 3-epi-betulinic acid was also found.
