Throughout the greater part of India and Andaman Islands.
Action:
Febrifuge, diaphoretic, emetic, emmenagogue.
Infusion of leaves—given internally in cephalalgia, hemiplegia and facial paralysis.
Fresh leaves—used topically in oedema and rheumatism.
Bark— emetic.
