Plant—astringent, wound healer, styptic, anti-inflammatory, sedative, mild analgesic, antico-agulant, spasmolytic.

Flower and leaf—diuretic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, smooth muscle relaxant, vasodilator.

Seed—used in cold.
