Subtropical Himalayas, Ganjam, Konkan, Western Ghats and the Nilgiris.
Action:
Bark—anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, narcotic; used in chronic bronchitis; also administered in leprous affections; a paste is applied to inflammatory and rheumatic swellings.
