Cultivated chiefly in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
Action:
Flowers—a decoction is prescribed for inflammation of the mouth and pharynx, and ulcers of the intestine.
Powder of rose buttons and seeds—astringent in haemorrhage and diarrhoea.
