Summary
Colliguaya integerrima (Euphorbiaceae), also known by the common name of duraznillo, is a woody shrub that grows in the Patagonia region in Argentina and Chile. The latex obtained from the whole plant and used externally is considered effective in the treatment of warts, callus, and toothache. To date, however, no pharmacological studies have focused on the validation of these actions. Some preliminary efforts have tried to determine antimicrobial, cytotoxic and antioxidant activity in this plant.
