Sub-Himalayas tract from Uttar Pradesh to Meghalaya and in central and Peninsular India.
Action:
Toxic. Used as a substitute for Cephaelis ipecacuanha as emetic, purgative and febrifuge; externally on unhealthy ulcers and wounds.
