Bengal, Assam, Konkan, and Tamil Nadu.
Action:
Leaves—bechic; used in alopecia, juice used for dyeing hair and for promoting hair growth.
Plant—deobstruent; used in menorrhagia and abdominal swellings, as a tonic for hepatic and splenic enlargement.
