Origin
A tree, found in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
Action:
Bark—antidysenteric. Also used in piles and skin diseases.
Seeds—antidysenteric, astringent, febrifuge, anthelmintic.
Bark and seeds—prescribed in flatulence and bilious affections.
