Folk medicinal uses
It seems unlikely that this plant finds very wide-spread use in Jamaica: most of our informants have been somewhat hesitant in naming it. However, they have all been consistent in describing it as used in bush baths for colds and fever. Some have said that it may be drunk as tea for the same complaints.
