TESAURO DE PLANTAS MEDICINALES - BILINGÜE

Perezia multiflora (Humb. & Bonpl.) Less.

Nota de alcance

PARTE UTILIZADA= Used part: Hojas.

ACCIÓN FARMACOLÓGICA= Pharmacological action: Emoliente, diurético, sudorífico.

= Chemical composition: The extract of the aerial parts of P. multiflora afforded in addition to the known isocedrenes 2e-g (8,10) seven new ones (1a, 1e, 2a-d and 3). Furthermore, a complex mixture of sesquiterpene esters was present wich finally gave the germacradiene to the perezones reportes reported previousle (5), the isocedrenes, 1a-d 2a as well as eudesmane derivatives, 1a-d and 2a as well as the epimeric diesters 8a/b.

ZONA GEOGRÁFICA= Geografical zone: América del Sur occidental.

DIVERSIDAD GENÉTICA Y MEJORAMIENTO DE PLANTAS MEDICINALES= Medicinal plants and improvement of medicinal herbs

The small but morphol. diverse subfamily Barnadesioideae of the sunflower family, Asteraceae, is of special interest as it constitutes the sister-group to the rest of the family. Therefore it is of crit. importance for elucidating the origin and early evolution of Asteraceae. Cladistic analyses of DNA sequence variation in the trnL intron and nuclear ribosomal ITS regions strongly support five major clades in the subfamily: Schlechtendalia, Chuquiraga-Doniophyton, Barnadesia-Huarpea, Dasyphyllum subgenus Dasyphyllum and a clade comprising Dasyphyllum subgenus Archidasyphyllum, Arnaldoa and Fulcaldea. Within Dasyphyllum subgenus Dasyphyllum, D. hystrix has a basal position, and sect. Macrocephala is supported as monophyletic, while sect. Microcephala lacks jackknife support. Within Barnadesia, B. parviflora has a very divergent ITS sequence and a basal position in the genus. The phylogenetic trees make some sense of the great morphol. variation within the subfamily, although some clades identified here lack obvious defining morphol. characteristics. Optimization of geog. distributions onto the mol. phylogenies shows that the Barnadesioideae most likely originated in southern South America.

ÚLTIMOS AVANCES EN LA QUÍMICA Y ACTIVIDADES BACTERIOLÓGICAS EN LAS PLANTAS MEDICINALES= Medicinal plants, last advances on chemistry and bacteria activities on the medicinal herbs

1) The investigation of the aerial parts of 2 Perezia species afforded in addn. to known isocedrene derivs. 10 new ones, 10 sesquiterpene esters, and a pair of epimeric diesters.  The structures were elucidated by high-field NMR spectroscopy.
