(Apocynaceae) from Bolivia.\nAnalysis of 2 D NMR spectra complete previous 'H\nand I3C data for vallesine, aspidospermine, and 11-methoxydichotine.\u00a0\nZONA GEOGR\u00c1FICA= Geografical zone: Bolivia y N. de Argentina.\u00a0 "},{"@type":"Nota de alcance","@lang":"es","@value":"\u00daLTIMOS AVANCES EN LA QU\u00cdMICA Y ACTIVIDADES BACTERIOL\u00d3GICAS EN LAS PLANTAS MEDICINALES= Medicinal plants, last advances on chemistry and bacteria activities on the medicinal herbs\n\n1) Eleven known indole alkaloids: vallesine, aspidospermine, 11-methoxydichotine, apparicine, tubotaiwine, vincadifformine, condylocarpine, (-)-rhazinilam, aspidospermatine, haplocidine, and 18-oxohaplocidine, were isolated from leaves and stems of V. glabra from Bolivia.\u00a0 Anal. of 2 D NMR spectra completed previous 1H and 13C data for vallesine, aspidospermine, and 11-methoxydichotine. \n\n2) Seventy-seven plant extracts (corresponding to 62 different species) traditionally used by the Isoceno-Guarani, a native community living in the Bolivian Chaco, were screened for antimalarial activity in vitro on Plasmodium falciparum chloroquine sensitive strain (F32), and on ferriprotoporphyrin (FP) IX biocrystallisation inhibition test (FBIT).\u00a0 Among these extracts, seven displayed strong in vitro antimalarial activity, and 25 were active in the FBIT test.\u00a0 Positive results on both tests were recorded for six extracts: Argemone subfusiformis aerial part, Aspidosperma quebracho-blanco bark, Castela coccinea leaves and bark, Solanum argentinum leaves and Vallesia glabra bark.\u00a0 Results are discussed in relation with Isoceno-Guarani traditional medicine.\u00a0 Further studies to be undertaken in relation with these results are also highlighted. \n\n"},{"@type":"Nota bibliogr\u00e1fica","@lang":"es","@value":"1) TOURSARKISSIAN, Mart\u00edn.
